Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or Graduate looking for school experience and routes into teaching?

Tradewind Buckinghamshire is currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to start work ASAP on an ongoing basis at a large, inclusive Secondary Academy.

The role will include working with small groups and some pupils on a 1:1 basis as well as supporting the school internally covering lessons. This is a full-time basis role that will continue for the remainder of the academic year until July 2022. Internal cover work is set by subject specialists, easily laid out and available through the schools intranet, you'll be given a laptop and welcomed into this professional staffing team from day 1.

This large academy is based in Hazlemere and is well known for it's holistic approach. Pupils come from a wide range of backgrounds and local catchment area, with a high percentage of pupils coming from homes where English is a second language.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

Have at least 3 months experience of working or supporting children / pupils over the last 2 years
SEN knowledge and experience is an advantage
Degree qualified or experience as a Teaching Assistant
A good understanding about working with children
Confident working 1:1 with pupils on your own initiative
DBS on the update service (we can help if you require a new one)
