Supply Teaching Assistant
High Wycombe
We are working with a special educational provision in High Wycombe who are looking for a small pool of bank staff available to cover short term gaps on a day-to-day basis. The provision has two sites located approx. 10 minutes’ drive apart.
How it works:
The school will notify Teaching Personnel of any of sickness or last-minute emergencies, that leave them short staffed. We may receive notification in advance or on the day. You will be responsible for updating your weekly online diary with your availability to work. On days you are free, and the school require support we will call you for work. This work is flexible, so you can pick and choose what days you would like to work each week. They can be the same or different days each week. This work is ideal for students looking to gain experience in schools while studying, retired educators looking to keep busy, or for those looking to return to education following a career break.
Pay
You will be paid weekly, and the rate will vary depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications. Ranging from a daily rate of £66.30 to £82.79.
Ideal Educators:
Experience with special educational needs (personal and professional)
Reliable and committed to work when needed
Happy to take calls at short notice to cover
Proactive and can follow instructions
Passionate about working with SEN children
Confident engaging with pupils with autism, speech language communication difficulties, emotional and sensory needs
As this is a growing school there could be potential to take on a longer term more permanent position if you get on well and can commit so staying longer term 5 days a week.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
