SENDhelp is working alongside our partner school based in Milton Keynes to recruit a Teaching Assistant

As our new Teaching Assistant, you will be working for a school that prides its values as 'Achievement, Success & Potential through Inspiration, Relationships & Education' for children.

This amazing school in a vibrant city of Milton Keynes, the special school is searching for a new Teaching Assistant who will promote the school Positive relationships that are pivotal to the schools in the federation, all following a Positive Behaviour Support approach.

SENDhelp is looking for the unique Teaching Assistant who will work in a team that focus on pupil's mental health and wellbeing.

The Role:

We are looking for long term supply Teaching Assistant, although this role has potential to become permanent for the right candidate
The Teaching Assistant will support children who have additional SEND needs such as ASD, MLD, SEMH and Challenging Behaviour.
The Teaching Assistant will support the teacher and will get the classroom ready for lessons.
The Teaching Assistant will support children who need extra support to complete tasks set by teachers
Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour
As Teaching Assistant, you will be supervising group activities such as outdoor learning, sports, life skills, socialising and playing with peers. By joining SENDhelp and our partner school, as our new Teaching Assistant, you will:

Work closely with a consultant who will be available to mentor you throughout your placement
