A-Rec Education are working with an Ofsted rated "Good", Primary school, situated close to Aylesbury Town Centre, who require an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team on long term supply.

The 2 form entry Primary School require an experienced Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in Year 3 with ASD. Experience of working with a child with ASD is vital. They ideally would like someone full time and to start as soon as possible, although this could be flexible for the right person. For the right candidate the role could be extended to the end of the academic year.

The requirements:

As the successful Teaching Assistant you will need to;

* Have a Level 2/Level 3 NVQ or a minimum of 6 months experience in working within the classroom as a Teaching Assistant

* Be engaging and flexible if needed

* Able to deal with challenging behaviour

* Have a patient, creative approach

* Be able to use your own initiative as well as being able to work as part of a team
