Teaching Personnel are working with a special needs school based in the High Wycombe area who are looking for a Teaching Assistant's who are available full-time, Monday-Friday with working hours of 8:30am-3:30pm – who are ready to start ASAP!
This school works with students between the age of (age 3 – 19) with PMLD, Speech, Language and Communication Needs as well as Complex ASD. We are looking for an indiviual who is patient, empathetic and passionate about supporting our SEN students, not only with their learning and development, but also their social, emotional and mental well-being. The school are committed to providing their pupils with a happy, nurturing and motivating atmosphere for them to enjoy their learning and where they are encouraged to reach their potential.
What does the role entail?
Assisting the teacher in delivering sessions
Supporting students with their learning and their social and emotional development and well-being
Problem solve day to day issues
Adapting and tailoring self to each individual student
What are we looking for in the successful candidate?
Experience working with SEN whether that be personal or within a school (desirable, not essential)
Kind, empathetic and patient
Problem solving skills
GCSE's (math and English C or equivalent)
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one with guidance)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
