Maths Teacher – Independent Prep School

Location: Buckinghamshire

Start Date: March or September 2021

Timetable: Full time

Contract: Permanent

Our client, an independent school in Buckinghamshire, is looking for a well-qualified and experienced Maths Teacher to join their high achieving, well-regarded institution.

The school is an IAPS independent school that offers a fully-rounded education for boys aged up to 11. Academic achievement is well above average with excellent exit results. The school is well resourced; all classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and Apple TV to allow teachers to make use of their school-issued iPads in their teaching if they wish.

The school are looking for a committed and well-qualified Maths Teacher to join their large and successful Mathematics department. The Maths Teacher candidate will have the ability to teach the subject from Years 4 to 6. The successful Maths Teacher applicant will have the ability to engage young people and inspire them with a love of the subject. Outside the main curriculum, the successful Maths Teacher candidate will be expected to support the pastoral needs of the school. The Maths Teacher candidate will likely be a mathematics graduate or in a related subject who is knowledgeable in their field, having excellent academics themselves.

The school has a generous salary scale with additional benefits of service, this is discussed in the interview. There is also the possibility to be made Head of Department for the right person.
