Your new school
This is an independent special needs school in Milton Keynes which offers 1-1 support to each pupil. The School consists of small class groups, creating a supportive and relaxing environment where students can learn and achieve their personal best. The programmes are flexible and each student has a personalised learning pathway. Students are assisted in developing academic, social and life skills that will enable them to achieve the maximum amount of independence in their adult lives.

Your new role
As a Special Needs Teacher Assistance, you will need to have a passion for working with pupils with SEN. You will be providing 1 to 1 support to pupils. You will be involved in all aspects of pupils' learning. This will include practical, hands on activities. You will offer emotional support and guidance by using your skills in personal care, attention and structure to each child's unique life.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you need to be have excellent communication skills and a real passion for working in a challenging yet very rewarding environment. No two days are the same and you will need to be enthusiastic, have an engaging style and show determination in working with these pupils. Experience is not necessary. However, the willingness to learn is essential.
