Senior Support Worker
(Working with adults with Learning Disabilities)
Salary: £20,475 per annum + sleep-in payments
Full time (37.5 hours per week)

Camphill Milton Keynes Communities is a charity providing holistic person centred support for adults with learning disabilities and autism. We support our residents in all aspects of their daily lives, and believe that each person should be appreciated and accepted for their unique abilities.
About the role:
We are seeking a Senior Support Worker who will play a key role in enabling our residents to achieve their goals and aspirations through person centred support plans and their ongoing development.
The duties are varied and no two days will be the same. However, as a general guide, duties may include some support with personal care needs and medication as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support resident’s health and wellbeing such as cooking, arts and crafts, watching the football, musical events, shopping trips and social occasions.
As a Senior, you will also work in close liaison with a House Coordinator/Team Leader and be part of the Care & Support Team. Leading collaboratively the staff and volunteer team within the house, whether contributing to staff house induction training and supervision, monitoring residents and service documentation, to ensure high quality care and support to residents is maintained.
It is important that you can demonstrate a flexible approach to work as you will be required to cover a weekly rota, which includes evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and Bank holidays.
About you:
You must have a minimum of 12 months previous experience of working within social care setting and Level 2 qualification in Care/Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
A full induction plus further professional training will be provided.
