Senior Safeguarding and Prevent Officer

TeacherActive are working in partnership with a fantastic Further Education College in Aylesbury who are looking for a Senior Safeguarding and Prevent Officer to join their team. This is on a full time temporary ongoing basis.

Duties:

Be a designated Safeguarding Children, Young People and vulnerable Adult Officer
Will be able to provide general advice and guidance to students
Will lead the provision of Safeguarding & Prevent Sources to students
Work alongside the Head of Student Services, EHCP Consultant Specialist & Senior EHCP Co-ordinator to identify students with EHCPs who Safeguarding/Fitness to Student Risk Assessments.

Applicants need to have:

* Safeguarding Trained
* Experience in a similar role in Education environment
* Enhanced DBS on update service
* A real desire to protect students.
