Our client, is a public distance Learning and Research University, and one of the biggest universities in the UK for undergraduate education.

They are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Learning & Teaching Enhancement Manager to join their IET team. This role is an immediate start until 31st July 2021, working 37hrs a week. This role is working from home and equipment will be supplied. The hourly rate is £21.58ph which equates to £41,526pa.

The post holder will manage a small team of learning and teaching specialists situated within the IET Quality Enhancement and Innovations (QEI) portfolio. They will have a key role in supporting IET's pan-university work including monitoring, developing and evaluating teaching and learning innovation, supporting the development of new approaches to data analytics and learning design, contributing to strategic and externally-funded projects, promoting inclusive curricula, and assessing institutional teaching practice.

Duties:

Line managing, supporting and supervising two to four direct reports whose work will focus on Evaluation and Quality Enhancement.
To manage the scoping, support and delivery of quality enhancement projects based on agreed timetables, budgets, milestones and outcomes, and under the leadership of the Associate Director (QE).
To explore new data sources, analytics and research methodologies and advise on how we might use them to enhance data and insight.
Skills and Experience

Experience in project management and/or managing activities of other staff.

Proven experience of designing and delivering quality evaluations using qualitative or quantitative techniques or a combination of both, in educational research, technology enhanced learning, or similar contexts.
