Grade A Recruitment is seeking to appoint Teaching Assistants to work within Primary Schools in Attleborough.This opportunity will be on a day to day, short term and long term basis starting from March 2021. Ideally the candidate is confident working with groups of pupils and able to interact with individual pupils whilst also controlling a classroom. The role
The desired Teaching Assistant will be working as part of a lively and creative team, taking responsibility for a whole class during the temporary absence of a teacher, working with challenging students internally and externally (on trips and educational visits etc).

Requirements
* Have experience of teaching in an alternative provision environment.
* Knowledge of the statutory requirements of equal opportunities, discrimination, health and safety, SEN & safeguarding of children.
* High expectations of students’ behaviour and clear strategies for working with challenging students, motivating and encouraging children appropriately.
* Have an understanding of curriculum, particularly literacy and numeracy requirements.
* Ability to contribute to a specific curriculum area or areas.
