Special need assistants for special schools
Protocol Education are always seeking to work with talented and passionate SEN Support workers who are looking to take that change of direction into a school setting.
I am the SEND Development Manager . I am looking for teaching asistants for my special schools in Buckinghamshire .I work with some amazing special needs schools who are in need of people just like you:
• Dedicated and resilient
• Experienced with Special Needs, whether it be adults or young people
• Want to make a difference
• Hard-working and reliable and have a sense of humour
• Able to maintain a professional outlook even when things get tough
• Always looking to grow themselves to become the best they can be to help support the children
All the above attributes create a positive environment within the classroom.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Taking instruction from the class teacher
• Working on a 1:1 or group basis with children who have Autism (ASD) / Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH )/ SLD ( Severe Learning Difficulties) / Challenging Behaviour and other associated needs
• Assisting with learning and social skills
• Personal care experience is ideal but not essential
• Carrying out interactive activities to help build their knowledge
