Protocol Education are looking for a highly motivated individual to help support as a teaching assistant in one of the schools in Chesham Our clients aim is to make everyone feel welcome and ensure they are treated with respect and are therefore looking for a candidate who can be a positive role model and has a real passion for special needs.
Although no experience is needed, previously working in education, care home or schools would be beneficial.
About the role:
-Supporting children who have learning disabilities – autism , profound multilple learning difficulties ,and complex needs
-Daily rate between £60-£75
-Working hours of (phone number removed)pm for 5 days a week.
-Long term contract till end of academic year.
Specific duties:
-Reporting and evaluation individual student progression.
-Helping children identify and acknowledge socially acceptable patterns of behaviour.
-Work towards building a secure and stable environment for each child to grow.
-Develop home/school relationships towards children and their families.
Requirements:
-Strong team player with relevant experience of working in a childcare/support working setting.
-Passionate about working in SEN and confidence in providing students to work at their full potential.
-Be able to provide a valid DBS or on the update system.
