Teaching Personnel Northants & Counties Secondary Branch have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary School based in the heart of Milton Keynes, on a Temp to Perm basis starting as soon as possible.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will demonsrate enthusiasm, willingness to take on challenges, positive attitude and adaptability to work with SEN or challenging students. We welcome Graduates with a passion for education to get in touch for our support roles.
This is a Temp to Perm position – initially employed as a Temporary staff member, with the view of going permanent by February Half Term based on performance and suitability into the role.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role supporting pupils and their success by:
Providing 1:1 support in and outside the classroom during school hours
Supporting pupils engagement and behaviour to induce willingness to learn
Assisting the learner in accessing the curriculum
Supporting the learner to achieve their target grades cross-curriculum
Assisting the learner to become an independent learner
Provide small group interventions and activities where required
Demonstrate a commitment and understanding of Safeguarding and practicing this (training available by TP)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
