Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a Local Authority in the South East of England to appoint both an SEN Case & Senior SEN Case Officer.

We are eager to speak to SEND Professionals who may be looking for a new contract.

The roles are all on a full-time interim contract of 3-6 months with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.

Contract Details

Location – Remote Working. Working from home.

Pay Scale – £220-£280 per day – Negotiable depending on experience & position applied for.

Roles Available

Senior SEN Case Officer

To support the Team Manager with the coordination of procedures relating to the statutory Education, Health and Care needs assessment, placement and monitoring of progress of pupils with SEND.
To hold a caseload of new assessments and complex Education, Health and Care Plan cases, including updating and amending Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP) within given legal timescales.
To manage and contribute to the coordination of phase transfer processes of pupils with EHCPs within their given educational phase.
To contribute to the implementation and operation of monitoring procedures designed to ensure that annual reviews of EHCPs take place in accordance with statutory requirements, including attendance at reviews as necessary.

SEN Case Officer

To be the named link officer for a number of identified schools, whereby they will be the main point of contact for specialist SEN knowledge and advice for that setting, and all parents relating to that setting.
To lead on specified new statutory Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments, with the collation, consideration and review of all professional reports required during the needs Assessment process.
