Building work started in July 2008 and is due for completion in the Spring 2010. A feature of the new building will be excellent IT facilities to support learning in all subjects. In addition, there will be exciting outdoor learning spaces, which students themselves have helped to design.

Key Responsibilities of the job include

• Planning and delivering lessons across the curriculum to pupils

• Liaising with the staff team to develop programs of learning

• Assessing and reviewing student development

• Utilising modern technology in the classroom

In order to be considered for this position, all applicants must fulfil the following criteria:

• Be UK qualified or hold a recognised teaching qualification

• Be eligibility to work in the UK

• Have a DBS Disclosure and/or overseas police check

• Have a CV and professional education references covering the last 2 years of employment
