A Geography Teacher is needed for a January 2021 start.

NQTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply – there is a real emphasis on professional development and supporting progression for all staff

Candidates will be confident to teach up to KS4 (with GCSE) in the first instance. There may be some opportunity for KS5 teaching for the right candidate.

This is a long term position, with the prospect to turn into permanent in the future.

• A small Co-educational Academy for 11-18 year olds with a current capacity of 700 students

Key Responsibilities of the job include

• Planning and delivering lessons across the curriculum to pupils

• Liaising with the staff team to develop programs of learning

• Assessing and reviewing student development

• Utilising modern technology in the classroom

In order to be considered for this position, all applicants must fulfil the following criteria:

• Be UK qualified or hold a recognised teaching qualification

• Be eligibile to work in the UK

• Have a DBS Disclosure and/or overseas police check

• Have a CV and professional education references covering the last 2 years of employment
