We are supporting a Secondary Academy to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgable Science Teacher to join their successful Science department.
The role requires delivering a high quality standard across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 where you potentially take on classes to deliver Double or Triple Science at GCSE with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with one subject specialism essential to A Level. This opportunity to teach Scence is due to begin after the Easter holidays and on an intiial temporary contract, and be offerred a temp to perm contract for the ideal candidate for the role and the school.
The role requires full planning and marking responsibilities to teach Science and you would be paid to scale (proof required).

The school are looking for teachers with:
Evidence of good classroom practice
The aptitudes to nurture, encourage, motivate and stimulate young people
High expectations of students’ attainment and behaviour
Good organisation and communication skills
A PGCE and QTS specialising in Science at KS3 and KS4 (A level required for Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
Candidates will be required to attend an online interview to register. We will need to gain two references (academic/professional) and hold an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificate (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you) at the charge of £40 for the certificate and £13 to register to the update service.
