Safeguarding and Prevent Officer

TeacherActive are working in partnership with a fantastic Further Education College in Aylesbury who are looking for a Safeguarding and Prevent Officer to join their team. This is on a full time temporary ongoing basis.

Duties:

• Provide information, advice and guidance to staff, students and other members of the college community as one of the Colleges designated Safeguarding Officer.

• Encourage good practice and support of procedures to protect children and vulnerable adults.

• To be the first point of contact for all Safeguarding and Prevent concerns for off-site provision to include Apprentices and Traineeships

Applicants need to have:

* Safeguarding Trained
* Experience in a similar role in Education environment
* Enhanced DBS on update service
* A real desire to protect students.
