Our client, is a public distance Learning and Research University, and one of the biggest universities in the UK for undergraduate education.

They are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their IET Research team. This role is an immediate start until 31st July 2021, working 37hrs a week. This role is working from home and equipment will be supplied. The hourly rate is £17.57ph which equates to £33,797pa.

The Project Manager will manage a number of externally and internally funded research projects. Working closely with the Research team to deliver the projects on time and within budget.

There will responsibility for the execution of a number of work packages within the strategic programme from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery of specified outputs within agreed time, quality and cost parameters to meet key milestone dates.

Skills and Experience required;

Demonstrate experience of planning significant aspects of focused projects.
Proven track record of successfully delivering projects, events and ad-hoc pieces of work.
Competent using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Able to set up project meetings in MS Office and lead those meetings as appropriate.
Able to minute meetings.
Able to manage budgets and undertake day-to-day tasks such as invoicing and updating spreadsheets.
