Manage the development of pre-qualification and proposal responses as required following the Proposals Process, including:
Working with the assigned Bid Team, drive the development of the proposal win strategy and value proposition
With the support of the Bid Team, manage the preparation of the technical content including project execution methodology and supporting documents such as schedule, personnel nominations, man-hours, deliverables lists, technical clarifications and deviations
Ensure development of high quality of proposal documents and maintain records / files of work and revisions.
Establish, monitor and control the budget for a pre-qualification or proposal as required.
Set and manage the proposal schedule and allocation of responsibilities within the bid team, ensuring the bid team are on target throughout the proposal process
Arrange various strategy and review sessions, coordinating feedback received into the proposal response
Assist the Project Services Manager in the preparation of the commercial content including rates, pricing of hours, commercial clarifications and deviations
Organise, attend and facilitate client meetings as required.
Facilitate the handover of proposal to project manager.
The role will involve regular engagement with Technip Senior Corporate Management in establishing and managing the proposal strategy and approval stage gates.Knowledge, skills and experience:
10 years of experience, ideally within the oil and gas industry and / or with a Process Technology provider
Prior experience in similar role
Must have the commitment to identify, analyse and propose solutions to problems in a constructive and positive manner
Willingness to challenge and strive to enhance quality and presentation of input received from authors in the bid team.
Effective communication skills particularly in writing clearly and concisely with impact and meaning
Strong organisational and planning skills, able to drive a team through the proposals process whilst maintaining the schedule
Enhanced understanding of Microsoft Office suite of programs, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Willingness to work extended hours in order to complete the proposal to schedule
