Job Title: Programme Delivery Manager / Tutor / Assessor
Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9am – 5.30pm
Location: Newcastle
Reporting to: Training and Quality Manager
Company Background: The Launch Group is an award-winning Training and Recruitment company that services niche industries across the UK. Established in 2013, TLG builds bespoke pre-employment training programmes, utilised by our clients for traditional resourcing and CSR related skills provisions.
As part of our growth and client demands, TLG are looking to expand our delivery team, working on bespoke programmes on behalf of some high-profile clients across the UK. Different to traditional Tutor/Assessor roles, this position offers autonomy and client account management responsibilities.
Function: Responsible for managing all aspects of Pre-Employment Training programmes including Quality Assurance, Programme Design and Delivery and Employer Account Management.
Main duties and responsibilities:

Design and deliver bespoke sector-based skills workshops including induction, tutoring, administration and liaison with learners/candidates
*
Implement Quality Assurance procedures for all training activities
*
Consult clients on skills industry developments and training initiatives
*
Design assessment documents and assess learner’s portfolio of evidence for accreditation
*
Support the planning and recruitment of pre-employment programmes
*
Maintain and update learner records to the required standard meeting contractual obligations
*
Provide 1-1 careers guidance and group employability skills workshops to school project
*
Managing activities of all delivery staff including CPD
*
Plan and participate in regular standardisation meetings
*
Keep up to date with changes in government funding, OFSTED, vocational training and the labour market
*
Responsible for any other duties as required in order to effectively carry out the role
Person Specification:
*
Must hold a recognised teaching qualification (Level 3 or above/Cert Ed, PTLLS, CTILS)
*
Must hold an Assessment qualification (A1 Assessor Award/TAQA/CAVA or equivalent)
*
Knowledge of ESFA government funding streams (AEB/SSR/SSU/ESF/Study Programmes)
*
Occupational and professional competence in multiple sectors including employability ski
*
Capable of client account management and consultation
*
Full UK Driving License and own transport
*
Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland and spend nights away from home
