A-Rec Education are working with an established Primary School within the Bletchley area of Milton Keynes, who require an experienced Primary teacher 3 days a week from January 2022.
The 2 form entry school require an experienced Primary School Teacher for 3 days a week, ideally Wednesday – Friday.
Wednesday and Friday will consist of teaching in Year 3 with some planning (not Literacy or Numeracy) which you will be paid for and Friday is PPA Cover in Key Stage 1. There is scope to be paid to scale for this role.
The school has fantastic access links to the surrounding areas of Aylesbury, Bedford, Buckingham and even Luton and would be an easy commute for a qualified teacher living in any of the above or surrounding areas.
Great role for an experienced classroom practitioner who loves being in the classroom but doesn't want the commitment of full time teaching with planning. The school has a fantastic SLT and extremely approachable and supportive Headteacher.
The role starts January 2022 all the way until the end of the academic year. This could be flexible if you only require work for Spring term and of course we would be able to offer you supply work on a Monday and Tuesday if you were interested in working full time.
The requirements:
As the successful Primary Teacher you will need to;
* Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education
* Have the ability and experience of teaching within Key Stage 1 and Year 3
* Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Be able to use your own initiative as well as being able to work as part of a team
* Have the drive and desire to make a real difference
