Protocol are currently recruiting with a successful client based in the Buckinghamshire area for a permanent Plumbing Assessor/Trainer.

Role responsibilities

To carry out assessments of candidates in the work place in accordance with Awarding Body requirements
To teach at all levels, appropriate to qualifications and experience, within the relevant Team and elsewhere within the College as required.
To develop training materials which will enable the candidate to generate evidence against qualification requirements
To keep accurate records of student progress and achievement, which are regularly shared with the relevant employer.
The person & qualifications

Level 3 Qualification in relevant subject Assessor Award Verifier Award or willingness to undertake qualification
Excellent knowledge of current occupational standards in the relevant area of work
Excellent knowledge of current best practice in the occupational area including Health and Safety legislation
Successful experience of assessing for NVQs.
Successful experience of instructing or demonstrating
