Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to test their new payroll system before it goes live

Duties include;

Testing Input all verified monthly variable payroll data received
Testing payroll processing from start to finish for weekly and monthly payrolls
Testing Calculations pro rata payment for starters, leavers and all other permanent and temporary amendments input into the integrated HR/Payroll System
Testing Run/check relevant payroll audit reports for sign off within the business in line with the payroll cut off dates
Testing the processing of all monthly payments to 3rd party providers (including HMRC, Court Orders, Pension providers)
Testing processing for SMP, SSP, TAX & NI
Dealing with all related queries from staff and project team
Communicating with staff based at a large number of locations across the UK via telephone and email
