Dunbar Education is currently recruiting for a Pastoral Teaching Assistant to support Secondary schools in and around Milton Keynes.

As a Pastoral Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for the emotional welfare of students across all year groups. You will be working closely with students with an EHCP as well as LAC children.

As the successful Pastoral Teaching Assistant, you will have experience helping students improve their confidence, social skills and decrease levels of unauthorised absence, raise attainment and improve behavior. The Pastoral Teaching Assistant can be either on a 1:1 basis, within a specialist provision or in small groups. It is essential to have strong behaviour management, experience supporting vulnerable pupils, up to date knowledge on the UK primary curriculum, confidence in building rapport and ideally a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
