Teaching Personnel is working closely with a specialist school looking for a Nursery Teacher to join the early years department in January 2022. The class supports a small number of children with global developmental delay, autism, and physical disabilties.

These pupils may require 1:1 support with the EYS curriculum aswell as support with sensory activities.

The ideal candidate will:

Assess the children and write reports to track pupils progress
Prepare resources and deliver activities based on the EYS curriculum
Adapt resources and the EYS curriculum to the individual requirements of Special Needs Pupils
QTS for EYS/Primary
Comfortable assisting in personal care (toileting nappy changes)
Supporting the Speech Language Therapist
Liaise with parents and multiple agencies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
