SEN Nursery Practitioner
Slough
We have picked up a vacancy for a Nursery Practitioner to work with children with learning difficulties. The provision supports children who have been diagnosed with a special educational need or who are undergoing assessments. They require a practitioner who can work as a key worker for a small number of children. You will be responsible for implementing intervention plans designed by SEN professionals and be require to repot back on development.
Ideal Nursery Practitioner
Hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification – NVQ in Caring for Children and Young People, NVQ in Childcare and Education, NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development, NVQ in Early Years Care and Education, NVQ in Play work.
Confident support children with learning difficulties one to one
Experience with autism, speech language communication needs, ADHD, behavioural and emotional needs
Background working in a mainstream or specialist school
Happy to take on regular training course
Committed to working 5 days a week – 8.30am – 15.30pm
Available to start immediately to from February half term
