Job Title: Nursery Chef

Responsible to: Nursery Manager

Location: Beaconsfield

Hours: 08:00 – 17:00

Salary: £22k – £25k per annum (depending on experience)

The Nursery:

Kiddies Academy Day nursery is Ofsted rated ‘Good’ with experienced, friendly and warm staff in our Purpose built nursery. Kiddies Academy is apart of Family first nurseries that provide top priority to the development, needs and happiness of our children and families. We support all our staff with excellent training and personal development. We are currently seeking a Nursery Cook to join our lovely Nursery

The nursery is easy to get to with great transport links. Beaconsfield train station is a 5 min walk from the nursery. There is also on street parking

Job Purpose:

· The Nursery Chef will produce nutritious and fresh food for 54 children aged from babies to five years old

· Managing dietary requirements and allergies

Duties:

· To ensure that a suitable nutritional diet and any dietary requirements are met

· The Nursery Chef will ensure a high level of hygiene and health and safety in line with health and safety standards

· Ordering Stock

· Carry out Health and safety Risk assessment

· Contributing to menus

· The Nursery Chef ill Liaise with parents on dietary requirements

Requirements

· Relevant Food Hygiene certificate

· First aid, or willing to undertake first aid training

· Experience working as a nursery chef
