Maths Teacher – Full Time – September 2020 Start – Aylesbury
Supply desk are pleased to be working with a successful school in the Aylesbury area to appoint a dynamic Maths Teacher with the energy to inspire, motivate and challenge students; you will also be expected to contribute to the development of this successful department. The school recognise that a strong and creative curriculum extends beyond the classroom and all students benefit from a wide choice of enrichment activities and trips both locally and abroad. Many students are high performing and it is important that their abilities are recognised.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher with QTS/ PGCE or equivalent who:
• Has a passionate belief in the ability of all students to achieve
• Has the desire to see continuous school improvement
• Has the potential to teach at all key stages (KS3/KS4/KS5)
• Has commitment to team work and a sense of fun
The role will involve:
Delivering Maths lessons at KS3/4 and 5 would be an advantage
Planning creative lessons to inspire and motivate students
Delivering the subject of maths in a fun and engaging way
Supporting students by adapting lessons to cater for all abilities
Allow opportunities for re-caps, extension tasks and class discussion
