A thriving and wonderful independent prep school in Buckinghamshire (close to Berkshire) are searching for a dedicated and caring lower KS2 class teacher. This is a full time and permanent position from April 2021 (although a September start is an option. A Head of Year role could also be open for suitable applicants.

Children at this independent prep school have acres of outdoor space to learn and enjoy their childhood in. Attentive pastoral care is one of the school's great strengths and all staff ensure the fulfilment of every pupil. There is a stimulating and broad curriculum on offer alongside opportunities for games, sport, music, art and drama.

The Head seeks a dynamic and enthusiastic primary classroom practitioner to teach a KS2 class – ideally year 3 or year 4. The successful candidate will teach and inspire pupils of all abilities and will teach the whole curriculum. The individual will ideally have experience of teaching a KS2 class, although strong NQTs are encouraged to apply. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues, parents and pupils and the ability to create a happy, challenging and effective learning environment. A willingness to contribute to the wider of the school is encouraged.
