About the role:
As our Learning and Development Coordinator, you will coordinate various aspects of classroom or other forms of training to include coordination of attendees. You may recommend general and specific training programs for organisation employees based on required training needs, and you will prepare materials per the lesson plans including the rooms, materials, trainers, or other requisite materials or accommodations, whilst maintaining accurate records.
Key duties and responsibilities of our Learning and Development Coordinator:
– Setting up and coordinating multiple routine training events, to include room set-up, organising attendees and resources, backfilling cancellations and rescheduling courses/classes
– Managing change and projects, disseminating tasks amongst trainers
– Undertaking stakeholder management at senior management level
– Handling most day-to-day enquiries from providers, leaders and team members
– Escalating less routine or urgent issues to management
– Producing training reports
– Coordinating with external providers/events
– Administering and recording payment of invoices
Our ideal Learning and Development Coordinator will have:
– High School Diploma or Equivalent
– Experience in coordinating other training or human resource functions, or other project/function coordination requiring similar skills and abilities a plus
– Strong customer focus
– The ability to foster relationships
