To oversee the coordinating and management of the companies marketing and sales strategies in order to identify and successfully engage with learners by selling training through ethical sales methods. To act as a first point of contact and develop a relationship that fertilises further business opportunities. Through this relationship you will act as a conduit to other outside sources and business partners. You will be responsible for the whole learner sales operation and undertaking IAG and TNA sessions, to identify and address client/ company/ learner’ training requirements and to overcome barriers for implementation. To attain and exceed specific targets appropriate with the companies objectives and stakeholders requirements.
Main Duties
To directly supervise all activities within the confines of the sales environment.
To achieve contractual and team targets through engagement.
Provide statistical analysis and management reporting on request.
To work closely with all relevant staff to ensure activities are coordinated and achieved.
Undertake IAG and TNA sessions as required.
Undertake all learner enrolment paperwork ready for submission to compliance.
Undertake learner induction sessions
Promote services to learners, employers and host organisations through need and demonstrating excellent working knowledge of the various initiatives that we represent.
Source suitable training, learning and placement opportunities for all key stakeholders.
Maintain a database of current and potential future employers through telesales, employer visits, mail shots and other marketing initiatives.
Ensure auditable documentation is completed and filed accordingly.
Work alongside trainers, assessors on recruitment and administration of all learners as required
Identify the needs of stakeholders through one-to-one meetings.
Uses varied selling techniques to engage and stimulate both individuals and client groups and increase client retention.
Organise Employer visits as required.
Keep up to date with legislation as required.
To ensure monthly AEB, Loans, Traineeship, Apprentice start targets are achieved
To provide a weekly updated employment report at the weekly team meeting
To ensure that employers comply with health and safety and duty of care responsibilities and complete required documentation to meet funding requirements
Quality improve all aspects of learner engagement including gathering learner feedback and ensuring programme design and delivery responds to employer needs
attendance and discipline; ensures our clients equal opportunities and health and safety procedures are adhered to
Completion of all necessary administration e.g. KPI stats, TNA’s, ILP’s, H & S, training plans etc
Works with colleagues to assist clients’ progression towards placement opportunities and movement into training/ employment
Roles may vary in some detail between areas and flexibility is a prime requirement of staff.
Carry out any additional duties as reasonably requested by line management
Companies Sales and Marketing face.
Must have a full driving licence, their own vehicle and business insurance (may not apply in certain areas) (desirable)
Candidates may be spread over a wide geographical area, so travelling is essential
Qualifications
Sales or Marketing qualification Level 3.
Management qualification Level 3. (desirable)
Advice and Guidance Level 3
IT qualifications such as ECDL, CLAiT, or ITQ
Basic Health and Safety
Experience/ Knowledge
Experience of planning
An ability to motivate and coordinate learners.
Experience of IAG processes and paperwork
Experience of completing enrolment paperwork
Demonstrate an ability to sell training.
Knowledgeable about the conducting of TNA’s and company needs analysis.
Knowledge of contractual procedures. ESFA, ESF, and DWP desirable
Experience of mentoring, coaching, delivering training or supporting personal development
