Gilbert Meher is proud to be working with one of the UK's leading providers of adults & children's education and social care on a rare, exciting Head of Operations opportunity.

As Head of Operations, you will be responsible for leading one special school and three children's residential homes. The services provide care and education to children aged 10-19 with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour.

You will be expected to uphold the organisation's high values and ensure that all services maintain Good / Outstanding Ofsted ratings.

The role will involve direct line management of a Head of School and the Registered Managers and as such, you will need to have considerable experience in a senior leadership position such as this.

Essential criteria:

Senior leadership experience in a relevant setting (special education / children's residential homes)
Experience leading children's learning disabilities / autism services through successful Ofsted inspections
Good understanding of Ofsted regulations and inspection processes
Successful track record of managing budgets and delivering commercial successDesirable criteria:

NPQH / DipSW or other relevant degree / qualification
Level 5 or above in a relevant discipline
Postgraduate qualification in autism
