URGENT requirement for an experienced Finance Officer or AAT Assistant Accountant temp to permanent position.

This is an URGENT requirement for an experienced Finance Officer / Assistant Accountant to work closely with the Finance Manager on the day to day activities of a busy schools finance function. This initially starts on a temporary arrangement but offers real prospects of transferring into a permanent appointment.

The successful applicant will be familiar with working within a busy hands on role. Supporting the Finance Manager you will be involved with but not restricted to:

Posting of income and expenditure
Bank reconciliations
Journal transfers / adjustments
AP/AR transaction postings
Support with month end closure
Experience is essential and previous experience of working in a school would be advantageous. The position will also be subject to an enhanced DBS. You should also be available to start an assignment as early as Monday 12th or at very short notice.
