Dunbar Education is exclusively recruiting for a Design Technology Teacher to work on a permanent basis for a thriving school based in Milton Keynes. The school has a good Ofstead rating and prides itself on valuing staff wellbeing and providing ongoing CPD to all staff.

Role:

As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will be responsible to safely teach energetic students across years 7-11. You will plan project-based lessons, encouraging students to experiment with their creativity and design ideas.

Required skills/experience:

You will have QTS and recent experience teaching Design & Technology Teacher to key stage 3 – 4 within secondary schools. Experience teaching other Technology subjects such as Textiles, Graphics, and Food Technology is highly desirable.

Person Specification:

The ideal Design and Technology Teacher will enjoy working with mixed ability students and will inspire them to shine in a more practical subject. You will be a confident teacher with an effective approach to behavior management. Head of department experience is highly desirable.
