Bamboo Childcare are recruiting a Deputy Nursery Manager (Assistant Nursery Manager) on behalf of our client – a beautiful 100 place, Ofsted rated "Outstanding" private day nursery based in the Aylesbury area of Buckinghamshire.

What the employer can offer for the Deputy Nursery Manager role in the Aylesbury area:
· 25k – 30k per annum dependent on experience and qualifications
· Annual bonus paid in April each year
· 23 days plus 8 bank holidays pro-rated
· Contributory pension
· Full time permanent role within financially secure setting

What you need for the Deputy Nursery Manager role in the Aylesbury area:
· Must have experience working at deputy management level or above
· Must be at least Level 3 qualified
· Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted
· An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
· Experience of managing/supervising staff WITH extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
· Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies
· Able to demonstrate multi agency working and experience of leading staff meetings.
· Managing and maintaining administration requirements
· Ability to work hours across 8am until 6pm

What is involved:
· Supporting the Manager with administrative running of the setting (partly based across the rooms and partly supernumerary based).
· Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
· Ensuring that all legislation in relation to Ofsted registration, special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with and that company policies and procedures are adhered to.
· Deploying staff appropriately
· Co-ordination of tasks and responsibilities and the ability to delegate where necessary
