Dunbar Education is recruiting for a good Ofsted rated Secondary school based in Towcester. The school is looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor / HLTA from April 2021. This is a full-time role with a strong possibility to transfer to a permanent position.

As a Cover Supervisor / HLTA you will be working with pupils across KS3 – KS4, covering teacher PPA and absence. You will also be carrying out intervention to small groups of pupils to raise attainment in Maths and English.

This is a large school with a high percentage of pupils with SEN and EAL. You will also be providing 1:1 support, working with EHCPS and supporting pupils with ASC, SEMH and ADHD.

The Cover Supervisor / HLTA role will suit someone who is an aspiring teacher. This role will give you valuable insight into teaching as well as support from the school’s established senior leadership team. For the right Cover Supervisor / HLTA there is an opportunity to progress into teacher training.

Ideally, you will hold a Level 4 qualification however this is not essential. You must be a graduate and be committed to raising standards and going above and beyond to support the learning of all pupils.
