We are currently recruiting for vibrant and enthusiastic individuals who are considering a career working in the Education Sector as a Cover Supervisor.

You would be working closely with Secondary Schools in and around the Bedford area on a day-to-day and long-term basis, providing the nurturing care and support students need to thrive on an academic and personal level.

Specific responsibilities can include:

Confidently use classroom technology to deliver the lesson and set homework previously prepared by the teacher
Effectively manage student behavior, following the School's Behaviour Management Policy
Assist in preparing the classroom environment
Recording and reporting attendance at lessons in accordance with school policy
Ensure you are up-to-date with the Government guidelines on Keeping Children Safe in Education and follow the School's Safeguarding Policy at all times
Providing adequate handover for their usual class teacherYou will be considerate, patient, and must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. A passion for working with children along with great classroom management skills is also required.
Ideally, you will be educated to degree level and have experience working with children.

Due to the nature of this job, it will be required for an enhanced criminal record disclosure to be undertaken, together with safeguarding and compliance checks.
