Are you an ICT or Computer Science Specialist, looking for a new challenge or to side-step into Teaching?
Teaching Personnel are on the hunt for Qualified Computer Science Teacher or Instructor who are passionate about their subject and can deliver up to a KS5 standard. We seek ICT or Computer Science Teachers who are available full-time from September and are happy to be on a temp to perm contract (up to 20 weeks) for this school and those open to other opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have a background in teaching ICT or Computer Science to KS4, (A Level desirable) and be confident in their delivery of the curricullum, however, this opportunity is open to NQT's.
The School are seeking:
The school seek to appoint an ambitious, enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of Computer Science or ICT with a real zest for teaching and learning. You would join a fast-paced and energetic team, who are generous with their time and enjoy sharing resources and expertise. They ideally would like an innovative and committed classroom practitioner who can teach outstanding Computer Science or ICT lessons, with the skills and abilities to engage and enthuse different types of learners and to work productively as part of a team.
About the School:
This is a 13 to 19 school with a roll approaching 1,000 students, including Sixth Form. An inclusive Academy who offered high quality education across SEND and mainstream. The school is large and modern and is growing, with a new science centre opened in September 2017 and has provided the additional 13 classrooms needed. They have an established Senior Leadership Team and have excellent support and CPD for all staff.
Working with Teaching Personnel & the Temp to Perm Scheme:
• The Temp to Perm Scheme is a flexible route into a new and permanent position. The Temp to Perm period is up to 20 weeks maximum, but is reduced to 16 weeks to partnership schools. During this period, you will be part of the school community, complete full responsibilities of the role (e.g. planning, delivering and marking) whilst being paid weekly through our PAYE Teaching Personnel payroll on a daily rate equivalent to your pay scale, and be commited to the school, just as they are committed to you. At the end of the period, you will go permanent and £0 cost to the school & become a permanent member of staff and be offerred a salary negotiated with the school directly.
• The first agency to furlough all eligible supply staff, before the government scheme was released
• Payroll is weekly, which means you’re paid every Friday. This is all done through PAYE, meaning you will not be charged for any admin costs and all National Insurance/Tax is deducted for you.
• Offering unlimited, accredited CPD opportunities throughout lockdown (and always!)
• Recommend a Friend Bonus (£50)
• Regular communication with your team of consultants in the Northants Secondary Branch via Telephone, Video Call, Email or Social Media – we are also on Linkedin and Facebook!
• We take all of your preferences into account when pairing you up with bookings i.e. Primary, Secondary specialisms and any subjects/age groups you would prefer to teach or have had experience with already.
