BPS World is partnered with a global private equity firm, who own and operate 40+ independent schools in the UK. An excellent opportunity has arisen for someone to manage and coordinate the condition of their portfolio of schools.

You will be managing the responsive and planned repairs across the UK estates and delivering a programme of improvement work to the schools. You must have an ability to work on your own initiative as this role is based remotely.

There will be travel around the UK as you visit the schools, ideally you will be based in or around London and be able to drive.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Provide technical advice to schools to improve quality standards of planned maintenance works

* Review outputs from building and services condition surveys to prioritise repair and maintenance schedules for each school

* Ensure that Health and Safety is properly adhered to in all activities

* Provide regular reports and updates on progress to the Head of Property

* Management of contractors delivering building works at project level

Key Requirements:

* Successful track record of delivering building surveying or facilities management services

* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise a heavy workload

* Excellent standards of customer care

Desirable:

* Degree or equivalent in an engineering/construction/facilities related subject

* RICS, CIOB or CIFM membership

* Previous experience of working in a schools environment
