Assessor/Development Coach

Home based role, travel across the UK only if required on a very ad hoc occasional basis (no one has had to travel for the past 12 months in this role)

Full time 37.5 hours per week

Salary £33K to £36K per annum

Mileage paid

Permanent role

Duties

* Assessing/Teaching in Level 6 Career Development Professional Apprenticeship standard and Level 4 and 6 Career Development Diploma

* This is for a variety of Further Education Establishments, the National Careers Service and the NHS for candidates who are in career transitioning, i.e pre-retirement, redundancy, returners to work etc

* Assessing candidates strengths, values, beliefs and situations

* Apprenticeship standards to levy and non levy paying clients, so must have experience in delivering the new standards

* Delivering remotely and visits when required

* Deliver functional skills reforms upto level 2 in English and Maths, ICT – embedment experience is suitable experience for this

* Individualise programmes to meet the needs of the employers to ensure learners develop new skills

* Engagement with employers and learners to deliver quality teaching and learning programmes

* Using electronic portfolio system to record learner interventions, reviews and upload work

* Take an active part in standardisation meetings

* Helping prepare towards Ofsted inspections

Experience required

Must have experience in assessing Diploma level or Career Development Professional level 6

Must have a level 6 qualification associated in career development

Ideally Assessor qualified such as TAQA, A1, D32/D33
