Would you like the opportunity to work in a challenging yet rewarding role with a pupil who requires 1:1 support?

Tradewind is currently working with a primary school on the outskirts of Milton Keynes that is seeking a 1:1 learning support assistant to work with a pupil on a full-time basis. The pupil is in KS1, however is working to an Early Years level and has a range of needs including a physical disability.

This rated 'good' lower school caters for Early Years and KS1 pupils from the local community. The school is based in-between Woburn sands and Brogborough. They a fantastic tight knit team that looks out for one another and support is given to everyone that joins. They're a value school, that teaches pupils about individual liberty, respect, and tolerance.

Criteria:

Experience and knowledge working with primary aged children
Degree qualified or completed relevant SEN qualifications
Confident supporting children with physical disabilities
Sound knowledge of early years and ks1
Phonics, Makaton, and pecs experience (desirable)
Effective communicator, hardworking, and patient
Passionate about making a difference!
Available on a full-time basis from January
Can commit until July 2022
DBS on the update service or willing to complete asap
Happy to register with Tradewind
