Salary: £35,000 plus 10,500 bonus

Our prestigious client based in Milton Keynes is looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor to join their successful team. As Warehouse Supervisor you will assist the Logistics Manager in managing a team of 8 warehouse Operatives.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor who is additionally responsible for the day to day management of people and operations within the warehouse function, to ensure the company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements, ensuring that staff complies with health & safety and standard operating procedures.

Responsibility for housekeeping standards, equipment maintenance, continuous improvement within the warehouse and training and development of warehouse operatives is all part of this important role.

Measurement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ensuring that the operation is delivered to high industry standards by efficient and dedicated personnel.

You will be self-motivated, creative and self-managing. Additionally, the candidate must have a good eye for accuracy and detail, be consistent, adaptable, friendly, enthusiastic, methodical, confident and passionate in their job, with good emotional intelligence to build relationships with both customers and colleagues alike

Essential skills

* Experience in operating in a supervisory capacity within a warehouse and distribution environment

* Fork Lift Reach Truck operating licence

* Good IT Skills around Microsoft Office suite of products

* Excellent communicator

* Good organisational skills

Desirable skills

* SAP experience

* Experience within a temperature-controlled supply chain environment
