J&J Recruitment Services are currently recruiting an experienced and hands on Warehouse Supervisor, this is a fantastic opportunity to work for an industry leading 3PL site based in Milton Keynes

You will report directly to the Warehouse Team Manager to ensure all warehouse operations are completed in line with daily warehouse targets. You will monitor and oversee a team of operatives and delegate responsibilities where necessary.

You will work to assist the Warehouse Team Manager to complete their duties and communicate any team problems, progress or anything in between. You will be required to distribute pick sheets to operatives, create weekly & Monthly pick reports. You will also need to ensure any packing special arrangements are communicated to the packing team and that all dispatches are made each day as scheduled.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor ideally in a Third Party Logistics (3PL environment)

• Able to provide holiday cover and take on responsibilities of the Warehouse Team Manager if needed

• Proven ability to coach, support and develop others

• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• To assist with leadership tasks

• To look after Picking, Packing, Dispatch & Inventory

• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases

• Computer literate in Microsoft packages such as; WORD, EXCEL (pivot table & v lookup) , POWERPOINT

• Leadership skills and ability manage staff

• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills
