We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Supervisor for our client based in Tilbrook, Milton Keynes. *Immediate Start Available*

Salary: £34,950 per annum (9 Month FTC)

Working Hours: 12 hour shifts. Working 4 weeks of DAYS 8am-8pm and then 4 weeks of NIGHTS 8pm-8am, working a 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off shift pattern. So you MUST be flexible to work any weekday and weekends

Responsibilities:

* Accountable for the correct recording of all goods received, trasnferred, issued or dispatched using the stock control system

* Accountable for the correct storage of consumables and stock to the appropriate locations, ensuring all relevant documentation and the electronic stock system (ESS) is completed before the end of each shift

* Receive and issue goods to/from external suppliers completing all relevant paperwork to maintain control over stock levels

* To complete accurate stock inventory checks before the end of each shift

* To complete all shift handover documentation and highlight any issues encountered

* Collaborate with other shift supervisors and Warehouse Manager to develop improvements across the Logistics department

The Ideal Candidate:

* Previous experience within a Warehouse supervisory role is essential

* Must be computer literate

* Good people skills and the ability to work well within a team

* Excellent timekeeping, ambition and desire to succeed

* Ability to prioritse tasks for each operative and ensure tasks are completed to a satisfactory standard

* Able and confident in challenging sub-standard performance and behaviour
