Warehouse Operative -Skilled Operative
Hawk 3 are proud to be working in partnership with British accessories brand which designs and manufactures handbags, purses and other women's accessories to recruit Warehouse Operatives for their Milton Keynes site.
The role:
Hours of work: 6am -2pm, Late Shift 2pm -10pm, Rotation every 2 weeks. Working 1 Sunday in 4
Salary: (£9.06 – £10.06 per hour) Starting from Grade 1 -3. To start from Grade 1 and progress through to further pay grades
Start dates: 7 th June onwards
Overview:
This role is an integral part of their warehouse operation and is required to efficiently support the intake and despatch of products. It plays a vital role in ensuring we deliver a high-quality service to our customers. You will ensure you are consistently performing to a high standard adhering to processes and procedures and achieving set targets and KPI's. You will be required to carry out all duties and tasks to a good standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Picking web orders using a hand-held scanner from the storage space and bringing them for packing adhering to set KPI's
Packing web orders ensuring orders are packed and labelled correctly to prevent returned orders
Rework of products in an accurate and timely manner ensuring set deadlines and targets are being achieved
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand
High standards of housekeeping are always maintained and adhered to. This includes cleaning and tidying of warehouse equipment and the yard
Following workplace Health and Safety rules is essential
Those ad hoc duties: As with all roles, you may at times be required to carry out ad hoc duties; whether that is to support another team member, to take on additional responsibilities or to get involved in project work that may impact not only on your department but also the wider business.
