The ideal candidate will be computer literate with experience using a WMS system and have logistics and warehouse/transport management experience.

Requirements:

* Responsible for the day-to-day management of the team

* Support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the E-Fulfilment service, develop and improve procedures to ensure the smooth running of the 7 day a week service between 7am and 8pm

* Transport management supplying goods over the Milton Keynes area via our own fleet of vehicles

* Oversee our WMS system, stock location, traceability and stock management focusing on continuous improvement to achieve our goal of 100% OTIF and 100% internal and external customer service

* Upskill and develop Distribution team skills and maintain moral and team spirit within the organisation

* Ensure stock management principles are followed in order to reduce stock losses and improve stock integrity.

* Perpetual inventory management

* Control of aged stock – stock rotation, identify, action, resolve

* Ensure scanners used in all picking / packing operations within Distribution, Bar-coding, own labels to identify all parts incoming into warehouse

Hours: 40 hours per week 5 days over 7-day shift pattern

Location: Milton Keynes

Full driving licence required

Salary of up to 28k depending on experience
