About the role:       

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Transport Planner to join our traffic team. This role will have a high level of contact with customers, suppliers, drivers and work colleagues and therefore requires excellent communication skills. Working a 4 on 4 off shift, position is Nights 20:00-08:00hrs. 

Key Responsibilities:

Working with the traffic team, this role will encompass the management of our fleet on a daily basis ensuring efficient, cost effective, legal and achievable planning. Ensure compliance with current Tachograph and RTD legislation.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience of planning

Be competent in all traffic office functions

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent UK geographical knowledge

Strong commercial awareness
