Currently LWC Drinks employ over 1000 people and they have 14 depots across the UK as well as a Support Centre and Hub distribution centre based in Openshaw, in Manchester.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a transport assistant to join this busy depot in Slough.

We are looking for candidates that have strong communication skills, as this role is very people oriented.

Along with good organisational skills, you would ideally hold a current CPC qualification. You will be the first point of contact for all driver related issues, responsible for maintenance schedules, downloading driver schedules on their return to the depot at the end of the day and de-briefing drivers.

Responsibilities;

-De-briefing drivers
-Monitoring and updating systems
-Maintaining and vehicle maintenance schedule
-Monthly legal Audit
-Defect reporting and completion
-Arranging and monitoring all driver CPC training
-Fuel consumption reporting
-Drop risk assessments of all customers premises must be completed and logged accordingly
-Complaint investigations
-Liaising with customers to ensure high levels of customer service are being achieved.

Candidate Requirements:

-Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
-National CPC holder would be advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
-Communication and leadership skills
-Ability to be flexible due to depot operation 6 days a week
-Organisational and planning skills
-Good IT skills
-Good team work skills
